January is a great time to start a fresh. It's the time of year people reflect on the year that was, and set goals for the year to come.
Why not do that for your space? Having a clutter free and organized space can help clear your mind and let you focus on the things that matter to you.
There's no need to rush out and turn your whole house upside down! Just take one step at a time. Why not focus on that one cupboard or drawer that always annoys you when you open it? Or how about finding a place for the bike helmets that are always in the way when you walk through the garage? Write a list of 12 spaces (big or small!) and assign them to a month. Write these spaces on the first of that month on your calendar (paper or digital), that way you can assign an actual day to them when you turn to that month in your calendar.
At the end of the year you'll have 12 spaces that don't cause you as much grief as they did last year! What an accomplishment
